Some people still think bullshit is the way to go…
No matter what, they continue doing the same thing over and over again…expecting different results, expecting things to change…and in the end they continue to get the same thing they’ve always goten…angry, fed up, pissed off, frustrated, and that horrible sinking feeling of yet another failed attempt. The realization that it was just more bullshit…
I assume you have had enough of that-and if you haven’t, I have!
There are no “miracle cures”, no “magic wands”, no “money back guarentees”, no “one thing words for everyone”.
I was there, I had life issues come up and looked for help, looked for ways to deal with things that I needed to deal with, and I spent a lot of money on self help books, on counseling, and therapy, only to find it was a lot of bullshit! For me, the bullshit took me to a place where I was on the verge of suicide! That was when I happened upon a tough no non-sense life coach!
I vowed to get the training, and learn how to help others wade through the mountains of bullshit each one of you have mounded up, piled up from years of living!
There are no pretty names, no whimcical, calm and serene things to call it…because what I do is get in there with you and we begin digging you out of the piled up mess, the bullshit that is keeping you from living a great life, from experiencing joy and pleasure and happiness!
Don’t hire me if you really like the pain, the defeating self talk, the misery and smell of shit!Don’t hire me if you are still enjoying wallowing in self pity, being a victum in life!
Only hire me when you have had enough and are ready to roll up your sleeves and do some serious rearranging, some serious work! I work hard and I expect the same from all my clients. Results do come, when we do the work together!

When I pulled out a new roll of toliet paper this morning, I got the idea about the things people give us that are useful and the things that are not.
Such as the toilet paper, now this is a very useful thing, in fact my sister had brought over an eight pack during thanksgiving, when we had a lot of people here. A month later I am profoundly touched by the ability to open my cupboard and find it there!
In these times when many are suffering financially, what are items that will be useful, and what are those items one would just as soon you not show up with? Many people are feeling complete and utter humiliation as they experience not having an income, and not being able to locate a job. Many do not want to let anyone know just how incredibly bad they have it and how scared they are. So lets just assume everyone is hurting and come up with some great gift items that will relieve some of their fear!
If your person drinks coffee, then consumables such as coffee, and filters and creamer may delight them to no end, and have them thinking nice thoughts about you every day until it is used up, and then some!
A hot water bottle! Oh yeah, especially if they are keeping their heat turned down or off when you are not there! You can fancy it up a bit by making a sleeve for it out of fabric, or knit one.
Vegetables for soup, along with a chunk of ham, or beef, or a chicken all wrapped up pretty with a bow can keep them eating at least one more day! If you happen to have some money, throw in a big bag of rice, and you will feed them for a week or a month!
Fresh fruit works too. We all need more nourishment in these hard times to keep us out of depression and thinking more clearly!
If they have pets, take notice of what type of food they feed, and drop off a bag or two. One note here is to make sure it IS the food they feed, many many dogs and cats have troubles digesting foods, and actually need special foods so they will not get sick.
Gas cards are always helpful especially if some has a car! Bus tokens if they use the bus system.
A gift card for a salon, in case they need a hair cut or some styling to give them an edge prior to applying for a job.
Dried staples or bagged that will last a while such beans, rice, nuts, raisins, oatmeal, cornmeal, dates are always useful to have on hand.
Onions, carrots, potatoes, and such usually last awhile and can be cooked up as soups, and stews.
Frozen meats, cheeses & vegetables are great if one has a freezer and electricity, or if you happen to live in a cold winter climate, where it can stay frozen on a porch or in a box outside.
If your person is a smoker, you could brighten their day with a pack of smokes!
Oh, how about some fun seasonings, these are things that can add enough flavor to a boring same type of dish that will make it all seem new again and maybe even exciting! Rice and beans can be pretty yucky, without some spice and hot peppers! Then it becomes an entire joyful blissful dish!
Well, there’s a few thoughts:-)

Yes it occurred to me that perhaps I might want to clean up some of the language a little here on my site. I mean using the word, bullshit is one thing, I mean this is the no bullshit website after all. Yet I believe there are many times when I simply use profanity, or slang out of laziness to find better words.
Over the next few weeks, I am going to be adding some new content and cleaning up some of the old stuff… AHHH

This is a kind of bullshit that is right there in your face, and yet it is hiding from you. It is bullshit yet in a indescribable type of way…. All your senses are screaming at you that whatever the speaker is saying, is not quite right, and yet you just can not figure out what it is. Your inner knowing picks it up yet your mind can not seem to clarify for you what is happening in the moment.
Personally this is the type of bullshitter I would prefer to avoid at all costs! It’s like you sit there and the bullshitter lies straight to your face, knowing that they are doing it, and your senses pick it up, yet there is nothing you can prove about it, so you sit there listening to it, or you want to look away from it, because you know it isn’t feeling quite right, yet your are defenseless! Ahhh!
I have an acquaintance who is this type of bullshitter, and it would seem that he has taken this skill to a level that is simply unbearable for me at least. He speaks words and sentences which come across one way, yet you instantly pick up that he could mean it to go a totally different way. There are always at least 2 meanings quite different from one another in most of what he says and does. So I never feel comfortable with him.
This type of bullshitter loves to watch people squirm, and seems to gather some self enjoyment from never building any deep true relationships with others. It is a type of dishonesty through and through.

Many of us have been caught up in the fear of life. It isn’t just on our own that we have been creating a sense of fear and drama, we are bombarded with the sense of fear from the media. People we interact with daily are in fear, and so they comment and remind us of more things we should think about and be fearful about.
How do we remain centered and loving and trusting in such times as we are living in today? How do we stop the chatter in our heads and calm ourselves and relax our tightened stomach muscels and honestly believe that there is nothing to fear?
Can we recognize the voice in our mind that is going on and on about loosing our job, loosing our homes, loosing things we’ve come to enjoy, wondering if we will have enough to eat this winter and just stop it long enough to breath and relax?
We can, but it takes effort and practice. One thing I do know today is that some things are completely out of my control. So if it is something I can not control, why should I spend time and effort trying to control it? That would be insanity. I am completely capable of insanity….yes, yet I am also very capable of stepping out of the insanity and into some calmness. In the insanity I can not genuinely laugh, yet in the calm, I easily roll out belly laughs, I feel free to not worry about all the things outside of my own control. I am able to love others and even see to their needs, yet when I am in that fear….trying to control the uncontrollable, I am unable to see anyone else’s needs, and even when I get a glimpse of their needs and their fears, I am certainly unable to respond with anything positive.
Today I ask you to join me in relaxing and letting go of the trying to control the uncontrollable, just for today! See if you feel something better or worse than you feel when you are trying to control the uncontrollable:-)
Love and peace!~Cheryl
